A Note From the Founder
I Built This Because I Needed It to Exist.
"I didn't start RISE AI Strategies because it was a good business idea. I started it because I had been the person sitting at the table who didn't know what she didn't know — and I never wanted that to be someone else's story."
If you've made it to this page, you're probably doing what I do — looking behind the curtain before you trust someone with something that matters. Good. That instinct has served you well. Let me be honest with you in return.
My name is LaChelle Bynum, and I am not someone who planned to become an AI consultant, a published author, and a grief coach all at once. Life had other ideas. And somewhere in the middle of rebuilding my own — after losing a career I loved, navigating some of the hardest family seasons imaginable, and watching technology reshape everything I thought I knew about work — I found the thread that connected all of it.
Systems. Frameworks. And the audacity to believe that where you are right now is not where the story ends.
"Inspiration fades. Systems carry you home."
I spent years as a federal Program Analyst — sitting inside complex, resource-constrained systems, managing competing priorities, and figuring out how to make things work when the resources didn't match the demands. That background taught me something that most consultants don't have: I know what it means to work inside constraints. I don't give advice from the outside of problems. I've lived inside them.
When AI arrived in the mainstream conversation, I watched two things happen at once. I watched people with access and technical backgrounds run toward it. And I watched everyone else — entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, parents, professionals over 50, Black women in business, people in community organizations doing the Lord's work on a shoestring — get left behind. Not because they weren't capable. Because nobody showed up to meet them where they were.
That gap is why RISE AI Strategies exists.
We work in three lanes because real people don't live in just one. The entrepreneur who needs AI literacy is also sometimes the parent who is grieving. The corporate team that needs workforce readiness training also has individual members who are trying to start over after a major life shift. The nonprofit leader who wants community education also needs a thought partner who understands both technology and mission.
I built a team — virtual and human — to serve all of it. I wrote the book. I built the framework. I earned the certifications. And I show up for every client the same way I would want someone to show up for me: prepared, present, and honest enough to tell you what you actually need, even if it's different from what you walked in asking for.
"You are blessed to be a blessing. That's not a tagline. It's a theology I run my entire business from."
If you've been waiting for someone who will take your vision as seriously as you do — who will bring strategy to your table without stripping out your soul — I hope you'll reach out. The discovery call is free. The conversation is real. And I think you'll leave knowing exactly whether this is the right fit.
Whatever brought you here today, I'm glad you came.
With faith, strategy, and every good thing —
LaChelle Bynum
